In 1995, Niyi Yusuf joined the Management Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen after starting his career at Joint Komputer Kompany, a local computer firm. He is a Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative West Africa (ALIWA) and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He serves as an Expert in Residence and facilitator at the Lagos Business School and is a Facilitator at FATE Foundation, where he is also a member of the Governance Committee
He is a highly regarded transformation manager with over 30 years of experience advising top executives in both the private and public sectors on strategic change and digital transformation.Niyi has played a significant role in developing key infrastructure for Nigeria's banking industry, including the creation of Interswitch, the CRC Credit Bureau, and the Unique Tax ID Number. He has also contributed to initiatives like the cashless Lagos project and the establishment of shared IT services within the banking sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, along with a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Wales. Niyi has various technical certifications in project management and IT governance. In addition to his consulting work, Niyi is an active public speaker and has presented at numerous conferences on topics such as digital economy and corporate governance. He serves on several boards, including the Corona Schools Trust Council and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and is involved in initiatives to improve youth financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills.
