Founded on 17 May 1983, the Institute of Director Nigeria will be celebrating its fortieth anniversary as a year-long programme this year, with various activities already earmarked to mark the milestone. The Institute has in the past forty years been at the forefront of promoting good corporate governance and global best practice in the Nigerian public and private sectors and has become the prime leadership membership organisation in the country.
