Governing Council
The Council is the
governing body of the Institute. It is charged with the
administration and general management of the Institute. The Council
shall consist of the following members:
1)
Fourteen persons being members of the Institute duly elected at an Annual
General Meeting.
2)
All Past President of the Institute.
3)
All Branch chairmen; and
4)
The Director-General of the Institute.
Council
members are expected to be available for five days a year to attend
council meetings and will also receive invitations to various
events that are outside the core responsibilities of the role.
In
addition, some Council members may choose to serve on Committees, and
this will bring with it a commitment of additional days. Current Members of the
